Hi, since there are lots of women who read this forum I would like to ask a question,
I´m taking the contraceptive pill and had unprotected sex during the placebo week (the week where you take fake pills during seven days, this is the week that your period should come) Is there a chance that I´m pregnant?
I don´t know whether to take the morning after pill or not, on the internet most places say that it doesn´t matter but I want to be 100% sure. And the morning after pill, does it have any negative side affects?
Please help =)

is this your first month taking it? did you mess up your previous two pills or more (not take them, or take them together days after you were supposed to take them)?
honestly, the time you are on the sugar pills is supposed to be a time where you technically are pretty close to not able to get pregnant. i've been on the pill for years and having unprotected sex while on the pill never caused any problems.
as long as you are not on antibiotics (they lower the effectiveness of the pill), or you havn't done any of the above, you should be fine.
the point of the pill is to prevent pregnancy without the help of other protection. i wouldn't worry about it.

| thanks, my period came yesterday so I was relieved, the only bad thing is that this month I have bad pms, big round bloaty belly and yesterday I cried maybe 5 times and today once, I feel quite depressed.
