in december 2008 i weighed in at 260.......
i started on jan 1 ...these are the measeures i took.
1.daily exercise....im up to 16 miles on the bike and 1 hour in the pool daily(except when travelling,thats when i use the hotel gym
2.cut out red meats (i have it once a month) fish 4 times a week
3.cut out dairy,i eat fat free plain greek yogurt,I avoid cheese except maybe for mozazarela
4.i eat fruit daily,no exceptions(with my yogurt)i also eat avocado(its a fruit in case you didnt know)
5.whole wheat rice and pasta(no cheese sauces)
6. no soft drinks,just water....ocassional glass of wine
7.vegetalbes daily(love lima beans,spinach.
8.eliminated mayonaisse(i only have it with tuna fish)

RESULTS:
I LOST 25 POUND SO FAR,BLOOD PRESSURE IS WAY DOWN(DOCTOR TOOK AWAY MEDICATION)MY GOAL IS 200 BUT IM NOT IN A HURRY
LOST 2 PANT SIZES
I REALLY DONT MISS ANY OF THE FOODS I CUT OUT

That's great! It takes a lot of disipline to change your lifestyle and stick with it. =)
Good luck on any future goals you may have. :D
