Im 216lbs and Im looking to lose 30 lbs to get back into shape. I am on a very healthy diet plan and go to the gym everyday what Im wondering is if your looking to lose BMI which one of the workouts is the best Treadmill, Elliptical, or the Stairmaster. I've used all 3 and have been told the best for weight loss / BMI is the stair master because of the climb on it.  As a side note what are the best home excercises you can do to lose BMI??

BMI is proportional to weight. Weight loss is (roughly) proportional to calorie deficit (each 3500 missing calories equal a missing pound). Use each machine at the level you can manage for (say) 20 minutes and see which one tells you that you've burnt more calories. It is all about calories. (and read the tutorial too)

For one thing, the home exercise equipment is going to be equipment that you actually use.  If you're very out of shape and are just starting out, an advanced stepper may be more advanced than you're ready to handle.

A treadmill might be easier; then again, if you have problems with your knees and ankles (as many overweight people do) then an elliptical machine may be better since it has no impact.
