@ Cuddles:
This diet is so easy... the challenging part for me is during day 2 of FL4I which is all fruit day. I keep on getting hungry just an hour after eating. But the veggie day which is day 8 was much better than fruit day!
The first day I tried drinking at least 2 liters. It was a bit challenging. But the next days are easier. Now at day 11, consuming 3 liters from 9-6 (office hours) is a breeze. Guess the body easily keeps up with proper hydration. And it feels great as well.
As I've written earlier, this diet is the easiest as well as effective among all the diets I have tried before. It seems I'm eating all the time - every 3 hours - and I'm losing weight as a side effect! How neat is that!
I'm planning to do BC starting Sunday, Oct. 18. Just to compare which one (DG or BC) works better.
I weigh myself same time everyday. So tomorrow, I'll weigh again before I start my 3 cheat days. Hopefully I can see a bigger loss than 4 lbs, but even if not, I'm still happy with that.
So much for my ranting Will keep you all posted.
Good luck everyone and thanks again for the warm welcome and the support that this group offers!

fat2fit: I normally drink a lot of water, or so i thought! But its different when you HAVE to drink 2L and when you choose to drink 2L. I try but some days it's just 1.5L. So good on you 3L!! wow 5 stars for you
I'm with you on eating every 3 hours and losing weight...how cool is that?
I've read from others in this forum NOT to weigh daily, reason being that it may (or may not) demotivate you. I try not to weigh myself throughout the 10 days but couldn't hold the suspense the last cycle so i weighed myself on Day 8, but the loss was 4lb which remained the same on Day 10. It's up to you, but i believe in the diet so i'm CERTAIN there will be losses, it's just a matter of how much.
I think i'll start another cycle of BC sometime 19th Oct or so, so we'll be in this together.
We'll keep each other posted alright?

Hi everyone. Just thought I would drop a post and introduce myself. I am just starting the Beyond Calories (I decided to try this first instead of FL4I). I would like to know what dieters think of the BC...does it really work quickly if the plan is followed correctly?...Do you feel the results before they show up on the scale?...How much water am I supposed to be drinking on this?...I read that no condiments are allowed, I guess that means I can't use butter to cook with either huh? Are you guys feeling deprived on the BC plan?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Kats - Welcome!! Sorry I had not responded sooner, but I haven't done BC, only the DG, so was hoping someone else would answer this post. I love the DG, personally, and never felt deprived with the 4 meals. Since you get to eat 6 meals on the BC I don't believe you would feel deprived. You just have to keep your portions smaller than you would normally eat, since you are eating more often. I know some of our members, like Omayra and Zeva, have done the BC a lot, so I will let one of them go into more details about this. But it DOES work, when followed correctly, just like the DG version. And I beleive you still have to drink 80 oz. of water, just like the DG. The water factor is really important, as you can lose weight just from that alone.

| Hi Debbie and welcome! I wouldn't make a salad since it is really not ok to add the greens. You could add some tomatoes and onion, though. Once in a while we might add a leaf of lettuce to make a wrap, but that really is stretching it, as it is not listed as allowed condiments. The only reason many of us add a little tomato and onion, is that salsa is allowed, so salsa is made up of those ingredients. Sorry about that. You could do some salsa chicken. Or just grilled chicken or something like that. Maybe try a search on peaches and chicken or peaches and ham and see if you can find a recipe that combines them. Then you can alter it to cook it as it is allowed on the diet. Also, if you come to the general discussion area of the FL4I forum, you can meet the others and get some different ideas when you have meal questions. Hope to see you there!

| Debbie - If you are doing the DG (diet generator), then yes, eat every 3 - 4 hours, and I wouldn't wait any longer than 4 hours between the 4 meals. But if you are doing the BC (Beyond Calories) version, then there is no way you could fit 6 meals by eating every every 3-4 hours. It would have to be every couple or so hours.

Hi, fellow FL4I dieters. I'm new to the forum and new to the diet...this is day six.
I'm very happy so far...5 pounds lost and no food cravings. I'm greatly relieved to be off the SUGAR merry-go-round that I was living on, to the point of having many meals of nothing but combinations of dessert foods.
The inflammation in my joints that had begun to plague me is already completely gone!
I do have a handful of specific questions about the diet that have cropped up over these six days. I have not yet perused the forum to see if any of these have already been addressed. Does anyone know if there's a space here where I can just deposit all my questions and see what answers might come my way?
Thanks, ElBop

Welcome..Elbop...come on over to the general discussion and ask your questions there. This is where we all talk. It is quiet on the weekends but come Monday, everyone will be back online and ready to help you out!
Isn't it great to be off that vicious sugar cycle...the ups and downs and feeling off! Good for you! This way of eating is healthy and you will feel and look great!
