Hi,

I started out power walking about 6 months ago but am now making transition to running/jogging. At the moment I walk 2.5k then jog 2.5k home. Taking it slow because I have never been a runner and want to build myself up slowly as I was finding getting my breathing right tricky!

What I would really like some advice on is running gait - how to get it right, I feel it is too short? And since I have signed up for a 5k race at the beginning of September some advice on getting to a point where I could comfortably run the distance between now and then would be fantastic?

Thanks S xxx
