Hi,
Can you tell me how many calories are burnt exercising with a hula hoop. I have heard that they are good for toning up and burning calories. Any advice?

Good question, sorry I don't know of a source. Please see the second para here:

Whenever I see them used, they don't seem to tax the major muscle groups. They're the ones that burn the calories, so I'd guess that hula hoop spinning would be well down the list of 'best exercises'. Fun, though - and better than sitting in front of TV.

Hi,
I really can't seem to find an exercise that I find enjoyable and motivating enough to do. I won't go out of the house at the moment and can't afford a treadmill.
If only there was an enjoyable exercise that burnt up the calories in 30 minutes and that I didn't mind doing every day.
What do you all do apart from going to the gym?

Well, if you like treadmills, you could try the stairs in you house (if you have stairs)? Or, a hula hoop would probably burn quite a bit if you did it for a whole 1/2 hour. Or an exercise video? I don't like exercise either, but . . .
And how many calories are you trying to burn?
