Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum (it's my first ever). I'd like to join the challenge. My report day will be on Wednesdays.
current weight = 169
Goal weight = 157

| Hi. I'm in. If you read my diary, you'll see I've had a little setback...Hurricane Gustav. Yep, he blew thru causing me much stress, thereby resulting in days of overeating. Anyway, excuses aside, I'll weigh Friday morning and report my weight and my goal for this challenge if that's okay. Just can't force myself to weigh without a couple days of getting back into the groove. Hope that's ok. Thanks.

This week, based on my highest scale weight, I'm calling my weight at 116lb. Although it looks like I've reached my goal, I think there is a good chance my weight will do a few more loop-the-loops during the challange period and I could easily end up heavier than my starting weight: so we shall not count our chickens before they've hatched.

Ok this morning I just can't believe my eyes when I look at my scale!!!
I'm down to 179.5 pounds WOOHOO!!!!
It's been such a long time since I've seen 17? on that scale!!!!
thanks for doing this challenge, it helps me stay focus, and now I see results!!!

My weight this week is 171.6, so it appears that I am going the wrong way! 
I guess it time for me to turn around, but now I have 11.6 pounds to go.

CURRENT WEIGHT - 203.33 (averaged)
So that's 3.67 down from my starting weight and 0.67 down from last week.
Thanks Crimson for doing this challenge... it IS helping me stay focused. Yesterday I actually weighed in at 202, but I know it's best to take the average because that was just one of those phantom good days.
Things I did right: I restricted myself out of about 100 more calories each day. I'm holding at 40 to 60 minutes of moderate exersize, and increased fluids (water!)... and getting enough sleep helps too.
Things I did wrong: Actually yesterday was the only day I slacked off. Missed my 5k job in the morning and ate about 200 more calories than I planned... I had a sales meeting and eating out always does me in. Back on track today... I know I'm down to the "stubborn" weight - so I'll have to work extra hard this week.
I'm worried - I'm going camping... I'll have to make sure it's not "lounging" that I'm doing but "hiking and swimming".

We have a crazy busy weekend..........so, being my weight has been the same for the
last 2 mornings, I will report it today..........in case I take off early tomorrow morning
and totally forget to weigh in.

Camping is a great way to get exercise. I usually walk the campground in the morning and then again at night. I am jealous of you getting to go. I wanted to go so bad this weekend, but it is raining here for friday and sat. So, no point in camping in the rain. Have fun!

Lil late on this one-but i'd love to join in...
I gotta weigh myself later tonight when im finally home from work, but last i checked:
starting weight: 148
goal weight: 120
i'll try posting sunday nights :)

I might start weight training with 5lb dumb bells so I don't lose muscle.. That might affect my weight maybe.

Yes, it will. But, that is a good thing. Cause muscle burns fat.....so go for it...

This week was a good week for me but it took me by surprise too. For the first time really, I allowed myself to cheat by eating a fried snickers (at the fair) it was yummy.

Well...LOL.
I had no idea until there it was looking right at me saying, yes cheat and try one (maybe a once in a life time exp), you must have me (lol). I asked the woman who was completely and utterly enjoying her's where could I find one? After she told me my mother and I were on a mission. To our surprise...it's a snickers on a stick (like a corndog), then batter dipped (sweet), then fried. OH yeah....IT WAS WORTH IT AND EVERYTHING I HOPED IT WOULD BE . I have no idea how many calories I ate but I added 1hr of pilates, 40 minutes of strength, and an extra 1hr of cardio to help offset it this past week.

I love snicker bars and I have to freeze them to keep from scarfing on them. I will definitly have to try one of those. Sounds really yummy.......

Thanks for the nice words. But, I really think the last pound was do to turmoil in my life yesterday, resulting in not much to eat. So, I think I will see bigger numbers in the week to come. But, I really hope that I can hold my own and keep it down.
