I live in South Florida. It is still 88 degrees and extremely humid. It is exceptionally hot here 8 months out of the year. Two months of highs in the 70s and two months of highs in the 60s.
I know it may sound crazy but I envy you northerners.
Once upon where are you? I love that area. Sonoma? Napa? Ill take a stroll in Muir Woods everyday.

Just outside Detroit. Used to be in Detroit, until last year - but I got sick of having my house broken into and getting no police response - so now I'm just outside of the city.

Phoenix, Arizona -- right around the middle, I guess.
Located perfectly so my daughter can walk to one of the best public elementary schools here, my son can attend a decent high school, and I can walk to work. But as soon as they both graduate, my husband and I want to move northwest, back to where it rains more than three times a year. =P

i am in the Land of Enchantment, Los Lunas New Mexico to be exact. We live at the base of the Manzano Mountain range and enjoy very little city commotion because we live outside of Los Lunas about 9miles. I have lived in Albuquerque, NM, Vallejo and Napa Ca, and was born in Pennsylvania.

| I live in West Burlington, Iowa, but spent the last seven years in Grand Junction, Colorado. My husband, daughter, and myself are all home sick for the mountains. The corn fields just don't do it for me.

I met Arnold Palmer there! And I hosted, along with my team at the time the LPGA 2001 Womens Championships. I also worked for a party rental company in St Helena, but they are gone now and merged into Wine Country Rentals or something like that.

| Southern, Colorado, very close to the New Mexico border. We are surrounded by mountains and call this place The San Luis Valley. The home of cool sunshine, I think is how they put it.

It depends. Some people just cut out junk food or scale down their food portions or start exercising and get enough results. For others it doesn't work (either because they don't cut out enough calories or because they cut too many).
Some people don't mind counting calories and want to be involved and know exactly what is going on - whilst others consider it to be a big bother. If you're in the 2nd group, try losing fat without counting - and if it works, great. If it doesn't (or if it works at first but then stops working) you can revisit the subject.

I am slowly but surely losing weight, since my last visit I am now back to 129 lbs from 135 in 30 days. Hope to lose more this coming months. I've also started circuit and interval stair climbing exercises.

After 3 months of watching calories, moderate exercise, I lost total of 10 pounds. Still have back fat though, I guess this means intensify my exercise.

I've heard lots of yummy things about catfish, but I haven't tried it, either. I hear you have to be extra careful of the bones.
Yeah, seafood can be a very healthy choice a time or two per week. Tuna casserole, unfortunately, does not count.
