I was thinking of getting it, since my personal trainer isn't working and I'm focusing more on getting rid of fat/inches, rather than weight.

So no one found this book helpful? Not much of a ringing endorsement.

I'm sorry nobody has messaged you. This book is extremely helpful and full of information. Even if your knowledgeable about health and exercise I think everybody should give this book a read.

I consider it a supplement in my mind, but really, it does a great job of giving you the basics of how and what our body does with food and why. I think anyone serious about losing weight and building up should read it (library if nothing else) and be sure they know the basics. Still along the lines of what Peter has, but more in depth to me.

| Hi, I don't have that book, but we have Body for Life by Bill Phillips - weight training is the way to go to lose weight, although I get conflicted on using those protein drinks and thinking about the palm of your hand being the size protein you need. I started out on Jenny Craig for 4 weeks (it was just too expensive). I then went to the grocery store and bough comperable foods as Jenny and since the first of the year I have lost 29 lbs. In March I started the weight training along with doing my eliptical. Four weeks ago I hurt my ankle really badly, so I haven't been able to do any lower body work-out, but I do tons of sit-ups and try to do abdominals -it is working. I just have 11 more pounds to go, and couldn't be happier, although these last pounds are definitely the hardest to get off!! Good luck to everybody.

| Dobie, why are you called Dobie with a Boston Terrier picture. I have had several BTs through the years and they are great dogs. Back to the question at hand. I am not going to read a book online, it is just too annoying.

I can get annoying, but its the information that your trying to achieve, not how it's obtained. And I belive the book is coming to paper if it already isn't. Peter would know the most about a paper version or google it and look for yourself.

Dobie was my BT for 10 years before we lost him a year ago. He was a great dog and we do love BTs. I can talk for hours if you like off line. :)
However, he is my online persona out of affection for him, that's all.
