I don't know but people buy it from all over the world.

When I charge something from another country on my U.S. VISA it simply converts to U.S. dollars.

I'm not sure how you wanted to pay though. Give me the details and I can write them for you (when I'm back on the internet next week). You can e-mail me from the link at the bottom of any page.

Thanks,

Hi, thanks for the reply Peter. After I posted I got my housemate to help me out. Turns out if I pay through PayPal it does it all for me, so I've got it!! Lot of pages though so I think I'd better start reading! Thanks again

Glad you got that worked out!

I got a printed copy of BFFM from Tom (he doesn't sell them) so that I could review it for my website, and I heavily annotated it while I read it. I like doing that when I study something.

I thought the great advantage of an e-book was that you could read it on your PC, which is true. But I was surprised when he told me that something like 90% of the people that buy the book end up printing it! Wow, that would keep your printer busy for awhile!

I think you'll learn a great deal from the book. I even enjoyed the inspirational part at the beginning.

I have seen a lot about the book and I think I would like to order it--is there any way to get it in print?  If you do get it online and then print it out does it really come out to be 340 printed pages?

As far as I know, it is only an ebook.   I didn't count the pages, but it is pretty thick.   I printed it out right away..........I've got dial up at home and it takes so long to open and download things.   I just picked up a BIG report binder and keep it by my favorite recliner........in case I get time to sit down:grin:

I don't believe you can buy a print copy; The PDF file has 340 pages. The 'meat' of the book is 313 pages (with some preface/introduction at the front and some tables and appendices at the back). You could always just print it a chapter at a time.

I would gladly buy the book form, but I just don't like to have to read it online, and I am not about to wear out the printer printing it.  The book looks good, but it is time to move back to the 20th century and get it printed for us who hate reading online.

I understand Tom will have a real book out near the end of 2008 and I will gladly purchase the book.  I hate reading on the computer.

Hi I found this diet today by accident and read a little.  Could someone fill me in and has anyone tried it.  Whats its success rate like.

Cheers

Interesting question... but I wouldn't judge any diet by it's success rate. You want to judge the value of what you learn, not the fortitude of those who have tried it.

If you click on the Products link above you'll find my description of it.

Whether it's the right "diet" for you or not, I highly recommend the book for its educational value which will be of great value in keeping a healthy weight for the rest of your life. As you will see, I also recommend reading ETL.

Thanks for that Peter:grin:

  1. I had a read and I am interested but like so many others have stated that is alot of book to print out.  Also the reason for my interest is that after trying so many diets over the last 30yrs I find I am left with weak muscle tone and have got severe neck and lower back pain due to:- 1. lower back pain occurred post pregnance and 2. neck injury caused from minium exhurstion. This injuries are quiet significant and has stopped me from participating in many exercises except swimming which I try to do at least once a week.
Anyway I will check out this plan and research it more before I purchase.  One more thing do the authors of their diets give any advice on this form? From what you were saying in the products link there are many diets trying to promote themselves through forums like these, so once they are acknowledged and accepted here are they also able to give advice to their own diet thread?  Hope I have explained this alright.

Thanks again

I believe that BFFM has it's own forum. Not sure if you have to buy the book to access it or not.

There are so many forums that no, I don't think the authors of such books ever participate in them. However, when I owned this website Tom the author of BFFM was great about communicating with me and answering my questions.

Many of the good points in the free tutorial on this website came from BFFM and ETL, so I certainly hope you take advantage of it.

I think that anyone interested in losing weight would do far better educating themselves for free at the library rather than buying ANY diet book. Catch is, everyone wants to "go on a diet" and most are more interested in quick than lasting weight loss.

(Actually, they are just interested in quick weight loss and don't think ahead!)

Cheers Peter

I have also posted about 2 other diets I stumbled upon yesterday - The Gabriel Method and Anne Colllins, have you heard of these?  I am comparing these 2 with BFFM.

I have posted it in the new diet section.

It seems like I got an e-mail from Tom saying a new book would be going to press later in the year.  I don't want to mess with the ebook, but I will buy a print version.  Has anyone heard any news on this?

Burn it on a disc, bring it to office depot or somwhere like that and have it printed up. You can also have them bind it together for an extra 2 bucks.
