Okay so I've been using my mom's old dial scale since like forever, and now we finally got a new weight watchers digital scale.  So here's the thing, when I weighed my heaviest on the dial scale I was like 115 and since got down to about 111-112.  Well then I went on vacation and ate really bad (whoops) so I know I've gained a little weight back, but today on the digital I weighed in at 118!  I've been working out pretty hard lately, but I've been an athlete all my life so I really don't think I could've gained that much muscle?  I don't feel as heavy as I did when I was heaviest on my old scale, but yet I weigh 3 lbs more?  I don't get it!  Does a digital make that much of a difference?

     Thanks a bunch!

In my own experience, I've found the digital ones to be much better. I currently have The Biggest Loser scale. You can buy it at places like Wal-Mart, and it's pretty accurate.

Further, on a digital, you can more easily see your weight down to the 10th of a pound. You can do that on a dial scale, too, more or less, but it's harder.

Oh, see I didn't really know the accuracy was that big of a difference.  That's depressing, I thought I was a lot lighter then I really am.  Oh well such is life I guess.

Just goes to show that the numbers are kind of arbitrary - if you feel great and look great, that's all that matters
