Hi!
My Fitness Coach (formerly known as Yourself! Fitness on PS2, Xbox, and PC) is now on Nintendo Wii.
It retails for $29.99 but recently it's been on sale for $19.99 at Best Buy and Circuit City.
It is NOTHING like Wii Fit... it's BETTER. You do NOT need the Wii Balance board for this game.
You create a profile. She (Maya, the trainer) will ask you to do jumping jacks, test your heart rate, test your strength, and core. You also set how much time you want to dedicate to this game.
You select what you own (such as a stepper, free weights, heart rate monitor, and stability ball) and choose your focus (such as overall weight loss, or flexibility, strength, etc) and she will personalize a workout for you.
It's basically.. a workout DVD that is customizable. You choose the scenary, the music, and the type of workout. Even if you choose the same TYPE of workout everyday (i.e. Cardio) you will never have the same workout.
During the workout she will ask you how you feel.. be honest! If it's TOO tough for you, she will tone it down. If it's not hard, she WILL make it harder.. LOL
This is a great thing for Wii owners who have Wii Fit who want something MORE then Wii fit---also, it's perfect for lovers of DVD workouts.
For $20, you can't beat it.
I hope others have it or get it..so we can talk about it :)

| That sounds so cool. I bought Wii fit last month and I love it. I love this concept of interactive workouts. I was surprised of how unbalanced I am but everyday I seem a little stronger and balanced. Now, I wish I could drop some of this unwanted weight. I also saw on a morning show that Jillian Michaels from Biggest Loser has something for Wii fit.

I am hoping to get WiiFit eventually too but don't have enough cash yet :( Do you need WiiFit to play this game?

I'm not sure if you need the balance board to play Jillian Michaels game, I'm not that far yet because I also don't have enough cash either!!

I'll definitely look into this, thanks!.
Also The Wii Fit in itself works wonders, so I hear.
I wanna get it, but I need to lose some more weight first...
I'm above the limit sadly.

I just got a Wii for Christmas with the Wii fit plus and am really enjoying it. I am a 58 year old grandma so I felt pretty silly getting a game system but WOW!!
I have been doing the Wii fit plus training and man do I SUCK! They have you balance and keep this little red dot in a center place and I can't even do that. I have been slowly working my way through the games and tried a new one today with a balance theme where you are standing on the balance board and controlling a Segway by bending forward, back and side to side to steer it. How amazing that I felt like I had accomplished something by just playing that game.
I also bought the Biggest Loser Wii game but haven't had a chance to explore it yet. It was $19.99 at Best Buy last week. My dil highly recommends the EA Sports Active game for Wii. It sounds pretty intense. At 296 lbs I am not ready for that one yet.
Lovin' the Wii.

I was wondering if there is a way to get the My Fitness Coach not to include exercises on the floor. I have a bad knee so just have to skip those.
