Mine changes all the time, but right now mine happens to be low fat pudding.
So, what is everyone elses favorites?

Grapes! I can't even imagine not eating grapes now. They are so sweet.
Pineapple is great, too. Also very sweet.
By diet food, though, you might not mean fruits and veggies - you probably mean healthier versions of other foods. Lessee...
Well, I do love whole wheat pasta and heart healthy sauce, but I probably won't eat it again for a while.
I love cottage cheese, too. I get the LiveActive variety, with live cultures. It's not diet, per se, but I think it is healthier than other cheeses.
Skim milk is good, too. Fat free sour cream isn't too bad.
I haven't had a soda since I started this, but if I did, it wouldn't be diet! Diet Dr. Pepper is probably the only one I could stand.
Planters sells a variety of nuts called the Heart Healthy Mix, which is very low in sodium, about 45 mg. Very important for nuts. I drink Low Sodium V-8, too. I wish they would sell other varieties in low sodium, such as the one with extra fiber.
The baked version of chips taste pretty good, but I've heard bad stuff about the Olean oil that they use to make them.
Geez, I've gained 5 pounds just writing this post. That is all, LOL.

Grape and cherry tomatoes, especially since it was summer. I can eat them like candy.
Asparagus, roasted in the oven with 1 tsp of olive oil and a sprinkle of salt.
Ak-Mak crackers. Excellent with tuna.
Bacos. I don't use salad dressing - just vinegar - but these sort of emulsify in the vinegar giving a yummy taste for only 35 cals(1.5 tbs). Great with tomatoes (see: above)
Q'doba Naked Taco Salads. Love 'em!

Are naked taco salads allowed here?!? LOL
How could I forget tomatoes. They're only, like, one of the best things ever.

Yea, have to agree with the tomatoes. I love them.
I also, pop those little ones like candy.
This year I have been into the snapping beans like crazy. I just like chomping on them raw, fresh out of the garden.

| I've been really loving the orange bell peppers lately. They are so sweet it tastes like eating fruit. I had never tried them until recently (I thought they would taste the same as green bell peppers-they don't!). They're kind of on the expensive side, though.

Yeah, have to say that I also love all the kinds of bell peppers. I even had some purple ones this summer. Someone gave them to me and they were the same as the green ones. I like to get them all and chop them and grill them on kabos.

Yeah, they're expensive! Here, they're about $3 or $4 a pepper, so I stick with the green. They do taste good, though.

| The orange and yellow ones are terrific stuffed. (I want to like the green ones, but they're just too potent even when cooked.) Last edited on 6 September 2008 12:41 am by MidgeH
