Oh my gosh~~~I love Adam! He was amazing once again! I am so excited, my Brother is coming over Sat & is going to get me all set up to download music from I tunes then put it on my phone!!! I can't wait as all the AI songs are on there to buy! I am also going to start listening to books on tape while I am doing my daily walk.
Anyone download music??? I am clueless. Feel like I can navigate around my pc, updated my own website, use quickbooks pro ... but can't do music!!!! I guess because I haven't tried.
Cheers..

OMG!!!! I think I have found the best Teavana tea ever. Of course, it depends on your taste. But I am so addicted to Spice of Life. If you haven't tried it, you MUST. It is so awesome all by itself. I could drink this everyday, forever! It is THAT good. And then mixed with White Ayurvedic Chai it is another awesome tea. It is good as iced tea or hot tea. They are both amazing. I recommend trying the Spice of Life by itself first, then blending it with the White Ayurvedic Chai. The Spice of life still comes through as the more dominant, but the blend is fabulous!

Hey All you TEAVANA GIRLIES.... I am now one of you!!!!
A VERY DEAR FRIEND sent me(I live over the continental divide and hours from the teavana stores in Denver) some samples of several kinds and I am ALREADY ADDICTED to even just sniffing the bags...heehee...I tell you....they SMELL SOOOOO WONDERFUL...I've sampled Toffee Rooibus (tastes like a rich coffee drink if you add milk) and Utopian Jewel (though I found out this one has gluten so I shared it with DH...wow so fruity...it smells amazing!! and is such a pretty color) I can hardly wait to try my other samples. These teas are unlike any I have ever tried...and I have been drinking teas for ages! NOW I understand your passion for these delightful teas!
Do the stores sell cups of tea(like a Starbucks of Teas)...or do they give samples that they are offering that day...it must be wonderful to see all the blends and be able to smell them or taste them...but I honestly don't know how you narrow it down to choose which ones to purchase! I guess slowly you just try them all!
It is raining here too Webfairy....but like you...we need the rain to bring out the flowers...especially here in the desert where rain is scarce.
Kitty...I thought I was the only one who loved to eat the slice to even off the cakes...doesn't count because we eat it standing over the sink right ..heehee

Enjoy the tea!!

Hi Kitty! I'm glad your cakes are finished and the "even the top" slices are eaten and gone! (I peeked in your window... lol)
Has the blueberry tea grown on you? I tell you...I love just smelling them....they are soooo fragrant! It is hard to believe that they are pretty much calorie free! Now if they could just make a Chocolate Cake Tea for Kitty....they do make a chocolate mint tea that I saw on the site! I wonder if they have a suggestion box for flavors!

I have a new addition to my home. This weekend I got two Bearded Dragons. I named them Jack & Sally (from Nightmare Before Christmas). They are 2 years old and adorable! I am so excited. I used to breed these lizards and I have missed having them for a few years now. They are about 16" long right now. Aren't they cute?

| Hehehe... they are so sweet and gentle. They just look intimidating. I have had friends in the past that thought I was crazy to have these lizards, but eventually they would warm up to them, and then even ask to come over to "visit" them! Before they knew it they were holding them and talking to them. I know they are cold blooded creatures, but they truly are sweethearts. I had one I used to take to work a few years ago and she would sit on my shoulder while I worked on the computer.

Terrific SS~ thanks what kind do you like??? Do you weigh it? Also I friend of mine couldn't stick to this diet because her husband and her have many business dinners or should I say conferences where you cannot pick your dinner. so, she went to a nutritionist who asked her what can't she live without...she said sugar. So he has her on a 1200 calorie diet of which 150 calories can be a dessert everyday. she has lost 20 pounds but slowly, and gets her dessert everyday. She did love this diet, but can't do it consistently.

Kitty...I eat a variety of dark chocolate that is 60 percent pure chocolate or above(70. 85) I also find the Ghirardelli 60 Percent choc chips are a good value. Walmart carries a selection of high quality bars. Milk chocolate does not have the same effect as the dark.
I hope this helps.

Web and Prose~american idol...what did you think???
This was not my favorite performance of Adam's. Best of the night tho. and the duet with allison was awesome. Those songs take me back. They picked some of my favorite, although prose, you may have not know some of them, you youngster. Believe me, that was the best music.
Mad World by Adam is still my favorite performance. so prose, when you get itunes check it out..and web, if you do itunes search him and you can listen to a snip of each of his past performances.
Gotta go vote a few times for him...good night!

Kitty - OMG! This is the first time I have seen any of the idol contestants. But Adam was AWESOME. You think it wasn't his best? I wouldn't know. All I can say is that if this was not his best I can't imagine how great his best performance was. I love Zeppelin and he rocked!!! And Allison was great, too. I just felt she could have done better, based on her voice and the song she chose. I agree, Janis Joplin is a good choice for songs as she has that raspy, rocker voice, and she is adorable! I can tell her voice is amazing. I was not so impressed with the other two guys. They were ok, but nothing amazing. So Chris Daughtry is going to be on tomorrow night???!!!! OMG, I will definitely watch it. I am so glad you talked me into watching tonight. I forgot how exciting Amercan Idol can be. Now I wish I would have watched it from the start. But there is no doubt that Adam is a level above the rest of the singers, and will no doubt win the competition. There is no comparison between him and the others, and I can tell that just by tonight.

Web~It wasn't my favorite performance. It may have been his best...but not my favorite. Rock did not fit the other two guys very well. Adam was in the bottom 3 last week. Again, people assume he's gonna win and don't vote for him, I thought it was gonna be daughrty all over again.....that better not happen tomorrow.
Talk to you later.

Prose - I haven't seen AI yet tonight as it doesn't start for over an hour. Don't tell me anymore as I don't want to spoil the surprise. So Chris is the guy that looks really young, and is not the Robert Downey Jr. look-a-like, right? I think that was Danny, but I have only seen it once so not sure I have it right. OMG, I wonder who they cut. But don't tell me!! I hope it isn't Allison, as I like her a lot. And I know Adam is not going anywhere! I can't wait now!

I agree! But Alison is young and has her whole life ahead. She WILL be BIG I think!!! But... maybe it is good to not "throw her to the wolves" too soon...know what I mean? This industry is really tough for the kids....I'm thinking of child star Lindsey Lohan or Brittany Spears and some of the others that have gone totally haywire! Alison is driven and a wonderful performer for her age or any age...for that matter. I think she will make it! But it was disappointing for sure!

WE NEED AN IDOL CHATTER BOX!
Thanks Kitty! I didn't know y'all were over here "ADAMIZING"
OH!!!
MY!!!
GOD!!!!
Is he not the greatest thing! Let's bring back the 60s!!!! Allison's leaving disappointed me; however, she will do JUST FINE! And I agree with Paula that Adam and Allison should do some duets on their albums when they come out.
My girl friend at work got me an Ipod for Christmas and I have YET to install the thing- use it or whatever you do with it. Every single Wednesday or Thursday, she comes in the office with the latest Adam CD and I jam with Adam on the way home. When he goes out on tour by himself (or whoever he might open for), I WILL BE THERE. I just hope I can wait a year because I will NOT go to the Idol tour- there are too many I do not like. My DH and I went when Jordan was Idol, and the only one I really enjoyed was Phil Stacey- his voice is beautiful.
I'm not worried about those who get booted off because if they have any sense, they need to go to Nashville's Idol Refugee Camp. Now, isn't that where they are all showing up? Bo Bice, Kellie Pickler (LOVE HER), Phil Stacey, Josh Gracin, Corey Clark, Diana DeGarmo, Chris Sligh (just landed a hit for Rascal Flatt!!! Who would've thunk it!)...and I could go on and on!
So... Based on who is left, Adam deserves it- it all depends on who the voting audience is made up of- my sister and I decided it's the Seniors PLUS generation, i.e., 75 and above- coupled with female teenagers/young 20s- that's why Chris and Danny are still there! ANYONE'S THOUGHTS?????????????

agl~just some advise. my neighbor got an ipod from her daughters and never got around to doing anything for a year. When she did, the battery wouldn't hold a charge and had to buy a new one. Apple gave her credit for some of it, but she still had to pay the difference. so, even if you don't set up itunes, plug it in your computer and keep it charged. but try and set it up. I don't use mine very much, mostly when I am on a plane or the dentist!!!
okay, I haven't watched AI as long as you. I remember when taylor hicks won ...i never got that at all. anyway, ADAM is the best performer right out of the box that I have ever seen on that show...HE SHOULD WIN!!! I remember last season, for the first time I started voting. I thought David Cook was special...so on the final night, I must have hit redial a hundred times...I thought for sure the other David would win, with those young girls fan base.
I agree Allison and Adam should do duets on their albums. I don't know who is voting for Danny but I can guess it's the young girls keeping Chris around..."he's so cute". I think that's why Allison got knocked out..not enough girls voting for her, with the group thats left.
All I can say is I look forward every week to see what Adam is going to do...I never felt like that since Daughtry.
Gotta get baking...I'll check in later.

I remember whenever we were looking to buy a car, I would belt myself in then turn and see how far back I could reach between the seats swinging my arm...heeehee...and I could send miniboxes of raisins directly into the kids hands in the third row by tossing them...one get very good at these things as a mom of four ...once my littlest one whined "Mom, he's breathing my air!" and I was so tired and stressed from driving cross country(Denver to NY) that I shrieked " J, quit breathing her air or I'm pulling over!"...My husband said "I think it is time to find a Dairy Queen"...lol

I met Andy and Polly about 10 years ago when I was trying to make a million dollars with Quixtar (a/k/a Amway)! LOL! I was in his organization. What a WONDERFUL human being. Andy was already a gazillionaire as a professional comedian when we met him but then added to his fortune through Quixtar and then left that. He is now a motivational speaker. He also does private standup comedy performances by invitation only.
They live on Ono Island in the Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, Alabama area!

OKAY!!! ONE MORE FUNNY FOR ALL THE MOMS OUT THERE!!!
SUNSHINE! Is that not the truth to be told- "he's breathin' my air." OMG- that is too funny. But you know what? Kids remind me of kittens and puppies- they are so cute when they are little- then they GROW UP!!! Which brings me to the...
STORY O' THE DAY! (I cracked up when I read this)
THE CHAPSTICK STORY
We had this great 10 year old cat named Jack who just recently died. Jack was a great cat and the kids would carry him around and sit on him and nothing ever bothered him. He used to hang out and nap all day long on this mat in our bathroom.
Well we have 3 kids and at the time of this story they were 4 years old, 3 years old and 1 year old. The middle one is Eli. Eli really loves chapstick. LOVES it. He kept asking to use my chapstick and then losing it. So finally one day I showed him where in the bathroom I keep my chapstick and how he could use it whenever he wanted to but he needed to put it right back in the drawer when he was done.
Last year on Mother's Day, we were having the typical rush around and try to get ready for Church with everyone crying and carrying on. My two boys are fighting over the toy in the cereal box. I am trying to nurse my little one at the same time I am putting on my make-up.
Everything is a mess and everyone has long forgotten that this is a wonderful day to honor me and the amazing job that is motherhood.
We finally have the older one and and the baby loaded in the car and I am looking for Eli. I have searched everywhere and I finally round the corner to go into the bathroom. And there was Eli. He was applying my chapstick very carefully to Jack's . . . rear end. Eli looked right into my eyes and said "chapped." Now if you have a cat, you know that he is right--their little butts do look pretty chapped.
And, frankly, Jack didn't seem to mind.
And the only question to really ask at that point was whether it was the FIRST time Eli had done that to the cat's behind or the hundredth.
And THAT is my favorite Mother's Day moment ever because it reminds us that no matter how hard we try to civilize these glorious little creatures, there will always be that day when you realize they've been using your chapstick on the cat's butt.
Y'ALL HAVE A WONDERFUL MOTHER'S DAY!!!
LOVE Y'ALL!

Hi there...Do any of you have a verizon voyager or an enV2 phone & know how to put music on it? I have music in my pc that I want to put on a sd card & then put it into my phone but it is saying the card is empty. I am so irritated with this as I have spent most of the day dealing with getting it to work. The files are MP3 format.
Thanks.
