I haven't tested this out yet but I found a recipe for some vegan brownies that are 101cal per 58g serve. I thought I would share the love.

Heres the recipe, I will probably just use regular dark chocolate chips though.

Scrum-Diddly-Umptious Vegan Brownies Recipe
That's right, vegan brownies that actually taste GOOD. What's more, they don't involve a bunch of ridiculous health food store ingredients and they're super quick to make. Mmmm...tasty easy moist healthy brownies. I don't know about you, but I'm sold! (And I'm not even vegan)
40 min | 15 min prep

SERVES 9 , 9 brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and lightly spray or oil an 8 x 8 baking pan.
  2. Mix applesauce, sugar, and vanilla in a medium bowl. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, and salt (and cinnamon if using) together.
  3. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the applesauce mixture. Mix until just combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips (and walnuts if using).
  4. Spread in prepared pan and bake 25-30 min, until center is firm and not sticky. Cool completely before slicing.

I baked them on the weekend. Verdict? Delicious!

They took about 4 minutes to make & tasted sensational...really rich & chocolaty. They keep well in the fridge too.

I'll admit I am a brownie novice being Australian I haven't eaten that many but they tasted pretty great to me.

I have been faffing about with this recipe a bit as it is low cal but nutritionally not so great. I have discovered you can cut the sugar almost entirely (I only used 2 tablespoons) & you can use half wholemeal flour & half white...I also added some oats to the mix!
