Warning the following is in regard to my personal situation. I am (was?) a morbidly obese 42yo male and my rate of weight loss would not be advisable for many individuals.
Thats 50 lb down in 13 Weeks 4 Days. I have 50 lb left to go to enter the normal BMI range. Approximate LBM Loss (Based on Naval Formula + Bioimpedence) has been held to 4.7 lb. I do resistance training 3 days a week, run 3 days a week and eat 75% of my unadjusted BMR Calories based on LBM. Protein has run around 30% of my calories. I am monitoring my LBM closely as I believe very soon I will have to adjust my calories upward to avoid excessive LBM loss as the amount of fat tissue is reduced.
